With any new idea, you live and learn, see what people like, and adapt and change the idea to be even better than the original idea!
To make Giving Back in 2010 more all-inclusive, I’m changing the system a bit. Now, rather than having to adopt from a Rescue of the Month during their month, you can get a 50% off session if you’ve ever adopted from that rescue! So, this month is Red Lake Rosie Rescue. If you’ve ever adopted from RLRR, get 50% off all through the month of March!
Another aspect I’m excited about, is extending discounts to all rescues, even if they’re not a Rescue of the Month. Have you adopted an animal from a rescue that’s not on my list? No problem! Just for supporting rescues in general, you’ll get 20% off your session! How cool is that??
Hopefully this new system will be simpler and more accessible for more people. I want Giving Back to be a wonderful opportunity for anyone, not just a select few. And, of course, I’m open to change, so if you have a suggestion to make this program even better, I’m excited to hear it!

And, to make it fair for everyone, if you’ve adopted from the January or February Rescue of the Month, you’re still eligible to get 50% off a session, just contact me :)
Hi Sarah: thank you for helping so many of the area rescue groups with this generous and brilliant idea! Would you consider extending your kind offer to SPONSORS of Home for Life animals? these kind people help Home for Life provide loving lifetime care for special needs cats and dogs who cannot find adoptive homes.Home for Life is one of the only care for life sanctuaries in the country that will help anmals who cannot be adopted. I would love to see the supporters who make it possible for us to help these special cats and dogs have the opportunity to benefit from the discount for your pet portraits. let us know and we will publicize! did you know your program is already on our Animal Updates page on our website!? thanks again Lisa@HFL
