I’ve had lots of breed “firsts” in the studio lately, and Kirby was the first Bulldog that’s come over. He’s everything a Bulldog should be: wrinkly, slobbery, snuffly, happy, stubborn and oh-so-adorable! Between the tongue, the underbite, the smiles and the pleading eyes, this guy wins for most expressions, hands-down. I had tons of fun shooting him, and he had tons of fun eating treats and trying to “love up” my leg. Sorry buddy, no humping the photographer.
Oooooooh my gooooooooooooodness! Beautiful Bully goodness.
I love the last photo of the wrinkles on Kirby’s head. Awesome!
You absolutely captured the beauty of Kirby. So very sweet!

I LOVE the one of him laying down and smiling! Priceless!
Aww he is definitely an adorable one :D
I LOOOOVE Bulldogs. They are a fantastic breed.
Kirby is pretty effing cute.
Even as a photographer and a pet lover, I’m still awed by the way you can capture the personality of all these animals so wonderfully. You have a truly unique talent and that is something that can never be taken from you, regardless of the liberties others may be taking with your words or ideas. It’s obvious that you have a loving and giving heart and despite what it may seem at times, you can’t be punished for that. Keep on keepin’ on, my friend. :)
That’s my boy! Great job, Sarah. You got talent. :)
Wonderful article and photos. I disheartening to see the vacancy in some of these animals eyes. We have had a few Red Lake Rosie Rescues at our facility and we just love them. Eventually they found fosters, or homes. It’s just sad we can’t do that for all of them.
Such a beautiful bully, beautifully photographed. Rest Peacefully Sweet Baby!
