I’m so excited (giddy, really) to have been featured in the August issue of Professional Photographer Magazine, the official magazine of Professional Photographers of America! It’s a huge honor, and what might be even cooler is I’m in the same issue as the amazing William Wegman. (I have 5 of his books on my shelf as we speak) I subscribed to PPMag when I started my business in 2006, and an interview they ran with Amanda Jones was my first peek into pet photography. I have to say, I thought it was nuts that she only photographed dogs, (I assumed photographers only shot kids and families and weddings) but it definitely planted the seed for what was to come.

I’ve been on the edge of my seat, waiting to receive my copies in the mail and they finally came this morning. Thank you PPMag for asking me to be a part of this issue! And thank you thank you thank you to all of you who allow me to do something I love every day. I’ve come a long way since this all began, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead  :)
