There can be a misconception that pet photographers just “get to play with puppies all day.” In reality, after all the aspects of running a business (nonstop bookkeeping, managing and archiving tens of thousands of digital files, meticulous editing, placing orders, packaging, client correspondence, marketing, networking, website and equipment upkeep and troubleshooting, cleaning, charity work and more) that’s almost never the case.

But sometimes…. just sometimes…. I really do get to play with puppies. And it’s glorious  :)
