Ewan was a fighter. He fought cancer for over 3 years. He fought through three surgeries, some chemo, palliative radiation, chiropractic, and holistic medicine. At our session he fought to keep up and moving, even though his back legs were very weak. As his mom says, he was a trooper through all of his treatments, and for the most part, he didn’t even seem to know he was sick. This beautiful Golden Retriever finally lost his fight on Good Friday.
It’s amazing how spending just an hour or two with an animal and the family who loves him can lift you up and help you to appreciate your own family and your own pets even more. I had a wonderful time meeting all of them, and felt right at home during our session. Farewell, Ewan. You were a very good boy.
This is Ewan’s “Woo Woo” ….. he does this when he wants something, when he’s happy, when he’s being spoken to, when he’s getting his picture taken…. super cute :)
This is the face he makes when he’s getting good scratches and really enjoys it….
Bye, buddy. Thank you for letting me be a part of your life.
