I was excited to have these two in the studio….. Miss Evalyn was the inspiration for Tahlia Mills to begin Save-A-Bull Rescue! She was spared by a police officer during a crack house raid, and came to Tahlia with a shattered femur, a bruised and battered body, and “a tail that couldn’t stop wagging if she tried.” After her one back leg was amputated, she unfortunately tore her ACL in the other. There were two options for this devastating injury… risky, expensive surgery or euthanasia. For Tahlia, the decision was simple. They went through with the surgery, and Evalyn came out on the other side a fully recovered, beautiful, grateful girl. Her “little” brother Henry is a big love bug, and they’re the best of friends.

I have a rescued one year old pit bull, and I can never get enough of these stories! It warms my heart to know that there are other people who open their homes and hearts to these loyal, loving creatures! The photos are amazing, not only did you do a great job of capturing the pit’s sense of humor you also showcases what truely beautiful canines they are! Thanks, this made me smile from ear to ear!
