Magnum, or Maggie as his mom liked to call him, was a wonderful dog. He was happy and vibrant and so well trained. Watching him work with his dad in the field was a lesson in patience and drive, in loyalty and determination. At just 6 years old, he was found to have cancer, and they were told they would have 4-5 months with him. We had our session 2 weeks after his diagnosis, and less than 4 weeks after that, he was gone.
Earlier this year, he had fathered a litter of puppies, and his family got to keep one of the pups. While Magnum wasn’t too thrilled with the new little bundle of crazy in his house, it’s so great for the family to still have a little part of their amazing boy.
