I just found out that Diva, this gorgeous Yellow Lab I photographed in 2010, sadly passed away in a house fire earlier this month. She had 13 years of the best life she could have asked for, and her family is just heartbroken. We really never know how long we get to have with these creatures… please take time every day to appreciate their role in your lives, and take lots of photos – whether it’s with a professional, or your phone, or a disposable camera from a drug store – for something to hold onto after they’re gone.
