About Sarah Beth

Hi! I'm Sarah, but feel free to call me Sarah Beth. I've been a professional photographer for over 18 years, and I've been an animal lover and artist my entire life.

My heart-dog, Gracie – in the photo above – sadly passed away in 2019, but she thankfully lives on in photographs and other custom artwork throughout our home. Our new dog, Rosie, is turning out to be a very good girl, and we've been missing having cats around so I'm hoping to add one or two into the household soon.

My background:

When I wasn't drawing pictures or climbing trees on our northern Minnesota hobby farm, I was in the barn with our dogs, cats, horses, sheep, chickens, geese, cows, rabbits, and more. That experience taught me patience, empathy, and how to be a calm presence.

My art degree taught me principles of design, composition, and the value of putting your best into whatever you're creating. Today, I love designing custom albums for my clients and helping them select the best images at the right sizes for their unique homes.

What I bring to your session:

You'll find I'm very good with animals, and they tend to feel comfortable around me very quickly. Fair warning: your dog and I are probably going to become best friends :)

That feeling of ease is so important in capturing your pets as you want to remember them. When they can be themselves, their personalities shine through, and those are the images - the moments - you'll love forever.

Having spent my entire life surrounded by animals, I've been part of welcoming them into the world, helping them grow and learn, and being with them as they say goodbye. I want to help you celebrate your relationship with your pets, whether it's at the beginning of your journey together, or nearing the end.

With over 18 years of professional photography experience I'll capture their funny expressions, regal poses, and everything that's special to you, then turn those into beautiful, tangible memories to display in your home and make you smile every day.
