Remember our Collie friend, Cody? That lucky boy got a new little brother for Valentine’s Day! Both Cody and Benjamin were rescued from the Animal Humane Society {go rescues!} and I hear they’re getting along great. Benjamin is a gorgeous 12 week old German Shorthair with more spunk than any one puppy should be allowed. I thought that he had two different colored eyes, but it turns out he’s actually blind in his right eye. The pupil never developed properly, and the iris did weird things, resulting in a pretty rad-looking peeper.
Our session was crazy-fun, with me frantically clicking away in between puppy tackles and kisses. Puppy sessions are definitely a challenge, but one that I’m always excited to take on. We ended up with some funny compositions, crazy eyes and ears, and blurry messes when he was running at me, but we got lots of great ones, too. Here’s a couple of my faves….
Is this not the cutest bum you’ve ever seen?
I just love that second to last one!
He is so cute! Puppies are just too much. Awesome work, Sarah. :)
What a beautiful dog! His markings are as gorgeous as he is!

super cute. love the pictures. my favorite is the one of his head down. i read on other blog about “parents” never buying the shots like those, but i love them, just them being natural.
