Parker’s mom does a lot of work with Pet Haven, where we’ve met in passing at a couple of events. When her beautiful old boy, Parker, was diagnosed with cancer, she called me right away. We had a rainy, gloomy day for our session, but I think we got some great images. He passed away just 4 weeks after our session, and 2 weeks after that, they learned their other dog, Frank, has renal disease. They caught it early, and hopefully he won’t need his own Joy Session any time soon, but needless to say, it’s been a tumultuous summer for their family.
