I first met George when I did my Style Hounds project back in 2010. When I saw his amazing smile, I knew he would be a perfect model. He was the biggest Pekinese I’ve ever met, and just a goofy, sweet, wonderful boy. He’s a bit of a local celebrity, as it turns out my good friend Mary Ludington had also photographed him for her book, The Nature of Dogs. 
I was so sad to hear they had to let him go today. He gave his family an incredible 15 years, and he definitely left a lasting impression on my heart.
