I had the distinct pleasure of meeting this large family on a lovely day in Roseville. All the dogs were rescued in some form or another. Penny (the black Doxie) from a pound, Sam (the Beagle) from wandering around a parking lot in Louisiana, and Victor (the Basset/Beagle) was a foster failure. At 14, Penny would rather relax than romp with the boys, (which they do constantly) but she’s still got some fight in her, and definitely enjoys running around the yard for a bit. Sam was so sweet and fell asleep in my lap after the session, and young Victor is best friends with their human girl, Rosa. Here’s Sam looking goofy to start off the blog…..
A good one for the Christmas card……
Penny loves licking her dad’s chin.
Victor loves belly rubs.
Sam in my lap :)
Thanks again for having me over to photograph your awesome family!
Thanks Sarah Beth, these are gorgeous. Teri (Sam, Penny, Victor, and Rosa’s mom)
love, love , love the one you suggest for their Christmas card! LOL! too funny! what a catch to capture the family with the 2 dogs wrestling in the background! Priceless!
That is one great looking family. From the bottom of my heart I would just like to say, “Thank you – thank you very much.” (I’m down to 5)
I love your perspective in all of these. Great job (as usual)!
I literally laughed out loud when I got to your Christmas card suggestion – I LOVE it!!
You get better and better with every session. I love every one of these photos. The dog looking into your camera is precious.
Awesome shoot! I love the one of the family sitting down and the two doggies playing in the background, its great! :)
OMG, that family portrait is PERFECT!
LOVE these! the first one is hilarious…the family shot is PERFECTION…the second to last is another unique favorite.
That family shot with the WWF match going on in the background is stellar. So quirky! How fun!
